The Vanderhoof RCMP and Crimestoppers are requesting the public's help in obtaining information about two recent thefts.
On July 28 approximately $1,500 in cash was stolen from Valley Diesel on Highway 16 East in Vanderhoof between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
On July 17 thieves also hit a residence in the 2900 block of Riverview Drive. Between 12:30 a.m. and 3 a.m., the suspect or suspects gained entry to the home through a window, stole liquour and damaged the residence.
The Vanderhoof Crimestoppers and the local RCMP are reminding the public to be aware of suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or the Vanderhoof RCMP at (250) 567-2222.
