The Vanderhoof RCMP and the North District Major Crime Unit spent Sunday night at the scene of a suspicious death involving two Vanderhoof residents.
On Jan.13, the Vanderhoof RCMP responded to a complaint regarding two persons having been found deceased in a residence. RCMP secured the residence as a crime scene and the investigation is ongoing.
"We are in the very early stages of this investigation and investigators are working to find out what happened inside the residence," said North District spokesperson Const. Lesley Smith.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released as the investigation has just begun and next of kin notifications have yet to be completed.
