RCMP called to knife scare at high school

Prince George RCMP are on the lookout for a suspect after a male produced a knife when a Prince George Secondary School student approached him because he was trying to enter cars in the school's parking lot on Monday afternoon.

Prince George RCMP are on the lookout for a suspect after a male produced a knife when a Prince George Secondary School student approached him because he was trying to enter cars in the school's parking lot on Monday afternoon.

The student was not harmed and the suspect fled towards Masich Place Stadium on Massey Drive.

RCMP were called to the scene at 1:45 p.m. but were unable to locate the suspect, who is described as non-white, 18 to 20 years old, six feet tall and wearing a grey ball cap, black sweater, blue jeans and a black back pack .
