An event aimed at raising funds for First Nations' legal challenges against the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway proposal will be held next week in Prince George.
Organized by Pull Together, it will be held Thurs., Dec. 4 at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and an evening of music, food and speakers, plus a silent auction, will begin at 7 p.m.
Pull Together is a joint initiative of the Sierra Club B.C. and Victoria-based legal defence fund Respecting Aboriginal Values and Environmental Needs and aims to raise $300,000 by Dec. 31. As of Tuesday, $235,000 has been raised.
