RCMP's Federal Commercial Crime Section is warning of a province-wide rash of credit card fraud in which the fraudster is using stolen credit cards over the phone.
Police say the fraud begins over the telephone and ends on the Internet.
Police are warning businesses not to take credit card information over the phone. It's also a warning for consumers looking for that too-good-to-be-true deal when they buy something online.
