The provincial government issued a request for proposals on Thursday for a contract to create an electronic system for residents to purchase hunting licences and apply for limited entry hunting program.
When completed, the online system is intended to give hunters 24-hour access to licensing programs and make it easier for the province to collect data related to wildlife management. The government hopes to have it up and running by 2015.
