Prince George may have a year-round farmers market in the near future.

The Prince George Farmer's Market Association is calling for debate on its new proposal at the annual general meeting Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Northern Interior Health Unit auditorium,1444 Edmonton St. right across from the hospital.

A presentation will be made by the board of directors on its proposal for a weekly, year-round venue directly connected to the seasonal outdoor location near the court house. A question period and open discussion will follow on the set-up of the project.

The public is welcome, and the board is particularly interested in hearing from potential vendors during the discussion period. For more information visit the website at www.farmersmarketpg.ca.
