Northgate Minerals Corp. has received some promising results in a $3-million exploration program to determine if its economically-viable to resurrect its Kemess North gold and copper project as an underground mine.

Northgate Minerals Corp. has received some promising results in a $3-million exploration program to determine if its economically-viable to resurrect its Kemess North gold and copper project as an underground mine.

As part of a 16,000-metre drilling program started this summer, the company has found gold-copper mineralization 22 per cent higher for gold and 20 per cent higher for copper.
