Priority offender wanted by police

A man wanted on several arrest warrants is being sought by the Prince George RCMP.

The BC Prosecution Service hase approved the following Criminal Code charges and issued arrest warrants for 29 year old Prince George man, Colin Michaud Durrand:

Theft of a motor vehicle

Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

Possession of firearm or ammunition while prohibited

Obstructing a peace officer

Fail to comply with probation (3 counts)

Fail to comply with release order (6 counts)

These charges stem from nine separate incidences that occurred since July 2019. Warrants were issued between March 3 and July 28, 2020.

Durrant is a priority offender for the Prince George RCMP and is believed to pose an increased risk to public safety.

He has a history of violence.

Colin Michaud Durrand is described as:

Caucasian male

188 cm (6'2")

76 kg (168 lbs)

Black hair

Brown eyes

Durrrand was last known to be residing on Clover Road in the Tabor Lake area, just east of Prince George.
