The person who anonymously threatened Polaris Montessori School and a nearby independent childcare centre last spring has been identified.

Back in early March 2019, the Prince George RCMP received several anonymous threats towards the school and the childcare centre.

At the time, immediate precautionary measures were taken in order to ensure the safety of the children attending both facilities.

After a thorough investigation into the threats, police have laid charges against 23-year-old Emily Holland, formerly of Prince George.

She has been charged with four counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Holland was arrested on the outstanding charges and has since been released on bail.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 13, 2019.
