Prince George will see Cariboo Rocks the North return in 2023

After such a successful weekend, organizers are ready to start planning next year’s festival

The 2022 Cariboo Rocks the North saw large crowds come out to enjoy the three-day classic rock festival.

After a tremendously successful return of Cariboo Rocks the North, organizers have announced the three-day festival will return again in 2023.

Pacific Western Brewing, in partnership with the CN Centre said the festival will be returning in 2023 on the weekend of August 11 to 13.

Organizers said after a three‐year wait, this weekend’s Cariboo Rocks The North Classic Rock Festival has been such a success the mix of great music and good times cemented the decision to bring Northern BC’s largest music festival back in 2023.

More details on next year’s festival line-up will be released in the coming months and information will be available on the festival’s website and social media pages.

Full 3‐Day Early Bird passes for next year’s event are priced at Early‐Bird Prices!  3‐Day Festival Passes are only $179.50, and VIP tickets for $399, and are available for pre‐purchase until Sunday, September 25, 2022 at ticketsnorth.ca.

These early‐bird tickets also come with a “You’ll‐love‐it Guarantee” so when the artist line‐up is announced, early‐bird ticket buyers can get a ticket refund if they wish.  

However, Cariboo Rocks the North said it will ensure a music line up – full of great acts, great friends, and great times – that no one will want to miss.

The outdoor festival takes place at Exhibition Park, located beside the CN Centre with a custom designed site plan to accommodate thousands of classic rock fans per day.

This year’s event hosted numerous iconic rock acts that included Tom Cochrane, Nazareth, 54.40, Trooper, as well as seven more bands. The festival grounds also offered food trucks, drinks, and VIP access.
