A Prince George stockbroker faces a hearing next week on allegations he carried out "manipulative or suspicious trading" in two junior oil and gas companies based in Ladner.
Marco Myatovic, who works at Canaccord Genuity Corp.'s Prince George office, is scheduled to go before the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) this Tuesday.
IIROC alleges he and Doreen Lowe, a stockbroker in Vancouver who will appear at the same hearing, failed in their roles as gatekeepers by pre-arranging trades in several client accounts at the instruction of someone who was not an account holder between April 2008 and March 2009.
