Prince George resident Victor Bowman received an Award of Merit at the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia's annual awards ceremony on March 10 in Vancouver.
The award recognizes Bowman's significant contributions, beyond basic volunteer participation, to the practice or profession of dentistry through involvement with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC) as a public representative.
Bowman was a member of the CDSBC Board for eight years, and is currently a member of the discipline committee. He is the president of Integra Directions Incorporated: a company that helps rural clients with interests in the Central Interior develop long-range resource planning.
