The Prince George RCMP’s Street Unit crew is continuing to bust drug trafficking in the city.

After a June 28 bust of three residences on Carlisle Way, Mullett Crescent, and Rainer Crescent, the Street Unit Crew has executed two more Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at residences in Prince George.

Police executed the warrants during the late evening on Friday (July 5).

The first warrant was executed at a residence on the 3800-block, 15 Ave.

When police entered the residence, a 25-year-old man jumped from the third floor in an attempt to evade police.

He was then met by a police service dog team and taken into custody shortly after. He was also found in possession of a significant amount of cash, cocaine, and heroin or fentanyl or combination of both.

He suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.

Two other suspects were also located in the residence, a 28-year-old male and a 49-year-old female who both residents of Prince George.

Police say they also located more drugs and cash inside the residence.

The second warrant was executed at a residence on the 200-block, North Ospika Blvd.

A 27-year-old Prince George man was located and arrested in the residence and a police search found a significant amount of cash.

All four suspects have been released from custody pending further investigation.

RCMP say they are committed to enforcement and prevention initiatives that combat the possession and sale of drugs in the community.
