A lengthy police drug investigation within Prince George has resulted in the seizure of drugs, guns and cash and three arrests.

During Friday morning (June 28) the Prince George RCMP's Street Crew Section executed three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants as part of an investigation into drug trafficking in the community.

The warrants were executed at residences located on Carlisle Way, Mullett Crescent and Rainer Crescent.

A combined total of over a kilogram of cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin/fentanyl were seized at these residences.  In addition, a significant amount of cash along with three shotguns were seized.

Three Prince George residents, all known to police, were also arrested as a part of the investigation. The three people included a 33-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman.

Mounties say the 33-year-old man is a priority offender for the Prince George RCMP. However, all three individuals have been released pending further investigation.

The Prince George RCMP say it is committed to enforcement and prevention initiatives that combat the possession and sale of drugs in the community.
