Police are looking to identify the suspect in a break and enter to a business on the 700 block of Central Street West. Shortly after 8 a.m. on Feb. 27 the Prince George RCMP responded to a complaint of a break-and-enter and arrived at the location within three minutes of receiving the call.
Upon arrival, police found a smashed window and evidence that someone entered the store and stole numerous high-value items.
The Police Dog Services team attended the location to assist in searching the store. Police Service Dog Mudd and his handler were deployed but were unable to locate the suspect. Police viewed surveillance from the store and are now looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
“We are looking for a man, possibly in his early-to-mid 30s. He has darker coloured eyes and was wearing a grey hoodie and gloves and carrying a red backpack at the time of the break-in. If you have any information on who this person may be or where he is now we encourage you to call 250-561-3300 to speak with an investigator. Please quote file number 2022-6783,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Cooper said the file remains under investigation.
