Prince George RCMP looking for owners of suspected stolen items

Police are looking to find the owners of electronics recovered from a stolen vehicle

The Prince George RCMP are looking for the owners of items that may have been stolen. On Friday, May 5 just before 11 p.m., police located a vehicle in the 2000-block of Pine Street that matched the description of a vehicle reported as stolen the day prior.

“Police officers confirmed the vehicle as stolen and recovered it. Inside the vehicle, police located several items that do not belong to the registered owner of the car and investigators believe are likely stolen property. We are reaching out to the public with descriptions of the items in the hopes of returning them to their rightful owners,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The items include:

  • Panasonic Toughbook
  • NCS TZ-251G laptop
  • Dell Latitude 5590 laptop
  • Super Scanner V wand metal detector
  • Three Qualcomm Satellite telephones
  • Sony PS Vita
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 cell phone

Those who believe one or more of these items may belong to them, are asked to bring proof of purchase or ownership to the Prince George RCMP Detachment to speak with a police officer.

Proof of ownership would include receipt with serial number or other uniquely identifying information.
