Prince George RCMP looking for older Chevrolet truck involved in shooting

The truck dropped off a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the hospital

The Prince George RCMP are asking the public for information about a shooting incident that occurred last month.

On Jan, 21 the police began an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred earlier that day. The investigation began at the hospital where police responded to a report of a man in the emergency room suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators are now looking to speak with the driver of the vehicle who dropped the victim off at the hospital that night at approximately 10:30 p.m., in the hopes they can provide more information on the events of that night.

“The victim was dropped off at the hospital by a person driving a very distinctive vehicle. It appears to be an older model Chevrolet truck. The driver’s side of the vehicle is red and the passenger side is black, and there are blue or black racing stripes down the hood of the vehicle. The hood of the truck, the roof and the tailgate are white,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Prince George RCMP media spokesperson.

Police are asking for anyone who has information about the driver or the truck from that night to contact police by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 and quoting file number 2022-2553.

If you have any information about this or any other criminal offence, please contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca
