Two people have been arrested in connection with an incident that closed Upland Street between Highway 16 and Strathcona Avenue on Wednesday morning.
Those in the area who were asked to leave their homes can return safely, Prince George RCMP said Wednesday afternoon.
“We want to reassure the public that this was an isolated incident with persons who are known to police. There is no increased risk to public safety as a result of this incident,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP.
