Prince George RCMP scored something of a hat trick over Sunday night when they arrested suspects connected to three separate break and enters.

Jordan Allan Lalonde, 27, was apprehended after police were called to fenced and locked compound on the 1700-block of Lyon Street just after 9:30 p.m.

Lalonde was found hiding in an unlocked vehicle and a search uncovered documents and cheques from businesses in the area as well as potential break-in tools, according to RCMP.

Roughly five hours later, at 2:30 a.m. Monday, RCMP were called to a break in at a travel trailer parked on the 2500-block of Moss Avenue and with the help of a handler and dog arrested Bobby James Lavallee, 32, and Vanessa Leigh Forry, 21, a short distance away.

A half hour later, RCMP were then called to the corner of Highway 16 West and 20 Avenue and arrested a man who matched the description of someone seen allegedly entering a compound through a hole cut in the chain link fence and removing copper wire.

He was later released on an undertaking with a future court date. Charges remain pending and his name was not provided but police said they are familiar with the suspect.

Lalonde, Lavallee and Forry are also known to police.

"This is a great example of how, in one night, multiple offenders were located and arrested. This highlights the dedication of our officers in bringing those who are responsible for these types of property crimes in our city to justice," said Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

As of Monday, Lalonde and Lavallee remained in custody while Forry has been released on a recognizance.
