Police have arrested six people after executing search warrants in the Peden Hill area.

On April 28 at about 11 a.m., frontline members from the Prince George RCMP executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrants.

Police say members from the Downtown Safety Unit and the Police Dog Services team assisted in the searches.

Mounties executed one warrant on the 3800 block of Westwood Drive and one on the 2600 block of Hollandia Drive.

In both residences, investigators located quantities of suspected fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine and suspected cocaine, as well as evidence of drug trafficking.

Investigators also seized multiple prohibited weapons from the two houses.

“Police arrested four individuals at the Westwood Drive residence and another two at the Hollandia Drive residence. Investigators will be forwarding charges of drug trafficking, pending the outcome of the investigation,” Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP said.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
