Prince George on small business task force itinerary

A small business task force is scheduled to make a stop in Prince George on June 14 as part of a province-wide consultation.

An exact time and location will be made known through local business organizations.

Submissions on how the government can strengthen small business in B.C. can also be made online at engage.gov.bc.ca/smallbusiness/ or by sending a letter to PO Box 9822, Stn Prov Govt., Victoria, B.C. V8W 9N3.

Appointed in May, the task force is made up of chair Michael Hwang, founder and principal lawyer at Amicus Lawyers, Cybele Negris, vice-chair of B.C.'s Small Business Roundtable and CEO and co-founder of Webnames.ca, and Shahraz Kassam, owner and CEO of Shamin Diamonds.

Deadline for submissions is June 29.
