A Prince George man is in custody after attempting to break into a shed on Oct. 31.

Prince George Mounties say they received a report from a neighbour, who heard a scuffle at around 8:15 a.m. of a break and enter in progress on Moyie Street.

RCMP arrived to see the suspect being held down by the homeowner.

The 22-year-old man was then arrested for allegedly breaking into a shed on the property. A small quantity of drugs was located on the suspect, according to police.

The suspect is due to appear in court later today (Nov. 1).

Police are once again reminding the public to secure their sheds and other buildings on their property.
