Prince George man in custody on suspicion of pointing a firearm

A Prince George man suspected of threatening two people with a gun was arrested on Saturday.

Prince George RCMP said Kevin Leroy Shore, 58, was apprehended without incident and a firearm was seized after police were called to a motel in the 2300-block of Northwood Pulpmill Road at about 3:30 p.m.

Shore remained in custody as of Monday morning on four charges including pointing a firearm.

Shore has a criminal record that includes convictions for uttering threats, causing a disturbance and mischief under $5,000.
