The Prince George Fire Fighters have drawn names for the Harley Davidson Raffle, which was a partnership with Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

The raffle was a resounding success with over 4,400 tickets sold prior to Friday March 24, when tickets were drawn at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

The first place winner of the 2022 Harley Davidson Street Bob was Don Derkson and the second place winner of a $500.00 Costco Gift card was Curtis Miller while third place winner of a $250.00 Costco Gift Card was Carlyle Garlick.

All proceeds from the raffle are donated to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation specifically towards a cardiac care unit at UHNBC.

This is the 25th successful Harley Davidson Raffle, and in that time, over $1,000,000 has been raised through this annual fundraiser directly impacting patients throughout the North.

The membership of the Prince George Firefighters IAFF local 1372 are a group dedicated to making our community a better place through both the on-duty work as well as off-duty fundraising activities,” said Mark Dorval, Prince George Fire Fighters Harley Davidson Raffle Committee Chair.

“We are so thankful to have the opportunity to work closely with the Prince George Fire Fighters Union Local 1372.  This partnership has a longstanding legacy of making a significant difference through the purchase of critical medical equipment for Northern BC which includes burn survivor garments annually.”  said Aimee Cassie, CEO for Spirit of the North.

“This group is incredibly dedicated and passionate about this project, and thanks to their support, this year."
