Prince George fire fighters cycling in support of Burn Fund

Prince George Fire Fighters are participating in the third annual Prince George Fire Fighters' Burn Fund Cycle Tour taking place June 24, 25.

Prince George Fire Fighters are participating in the third annual Prince George Fire Fighters' Burn Fund Cycle Tour taking place June 24, 25. Five Local 1372 fire fighters will be cycling to Dragon Lake and back (near Quesnel) to raise funds and awareness for the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund.

The Burn Fund provides life saving, life supporting, and life enriching services to people all across British Columbia. Funds raised will help benefit burn survivors in Northern BC as well as throughout the province.

Five Prince George Fire Fighters and support staff will be donating their off-duty time to help this cause. In addition to the charity cycle tour, there are a few other fundraisers occurring over the summer. They are as follows:

Scotiabank BBQ Friday, May 20 at the Spruceland branch from 11 to 2 p.m.

City Hall BBQ Friday June 03 at City Hall

Superstore BBQ Saturday June 18 in the parking lot from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Car wash and open house on Saturday July 09 at the No. 2 Hall (5th and Ospika) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come have your vehicle washed by the Fire Fighters, by donation!

The fire fighters will depart from Hall No. 1 at 8 a.m. on Friday June 24. We will return on Saturday June 25 - at approximately 4 p.m.
