Prince George church hit by fire

Firefighters responded to a fire in the church's main atrium on Tuesday.

A fire broke out in the main atrium of Trinity United Church on Tuesday afternoon. No damage was visible from the exterior on Wednesday morning.

A fire broke out in the main atrium of Trinity United Church on Tuesday.

Prince George Fire Rescue Service crews were called to the church on Fifth Avenue at roughly 4:15 p.m., according to information released by the City of Prince George on Wednesday.

In addition to the church, the building is home to Edge Meadows Preschool and the Prince George Conservatory of Music.

Fire crews from three halls arrived and quickly extinguished the blaze.

No one was injured in the fire, and the cause was under investigation as of Wednesday.
