Mounties are reissuing their call for the public's help after announcing the mausoleum at the Prince George Cemetery was reportedly broken into for a second time

In a release, Cpl. Craig Douglass says police received a call just after 6 a.m.this morning (March 13) of another break-and-enter at the cemetery, located on Memorial Park Lane.

Officers attended the scene and gathered video surveillance that shows a suspect on the premises for less than two minutes before taking off.

A lone man wearing a mask smashed a window to get into the building and then broke into niches to take personal belongings.

A police dog was brought in to possibly track the suspect but was unsuccessful.

"This is a disgusting and disrespectful act for personal gain," Douglass says, "All efforts will be made to identify and charge the person responsible."

Police now believe there were three break-ins at the property in the last week.

The first happened Friday night (March 5) or Saturday morning (March 6), where an external window was broken, but no entry was accessed.

Douglass says the second occurred early Monday morning (March 9), where a suspect entered the building and the third happening today when a suspect once again entered the building.

Niches were broken each time and personal items were taken, mainly jewelry.
