After the Real Canadian Superstore confirmed a positive COVID-19 case involving a team member, the Prince George Canadian Tire has also confirmed a positive test at its Prince George location.
In an emailed statement to PrinceGeorgeMatters, Manger of Corporate Communication Joscelyn Dosanjh says one of its employees has tested positive. The last shift the team member worked was on Nov. 16.
The company says customers have not been identified as close contacts at this time.
Dosanjh says the store underwent a deep cleaning and sanitization over and beyond the current enhanced cleaning measures at the store.
The Real Canadian Superstore said that any team members that worked with their affected employee are self-isolating at home and they also underwent increased sanitation.
