Seasonal reductions in Prince George bus service will come into effect on April 23.

With the end of the semester for UNBC and the College of New Caledonia approaching, a reduction to routes 15 UNBC/Downtown and 55 Victoria will come into effect later this month. The trips that will be suspended for the summer are indicated with a U and F trip notes in the riders’ guide.

“These temporary adjustments are being made to reflect the current seasonal demand for transit in Prince George and to ensure that resources are being used efficiently,” a statement released by BC Transit on Thursday said.

In July all runs on the 12 Parkridge, 96 Shas Ti Kelly Road and 97 Shas Ti Kelly Road school special routes will be temporarily suspended as well, until regular classes resume in September.

Detailed schedules can be found online, or using the BC Transit app which can be downloaded in the Apple app store for iPhone or Google Play Store for Android users.
