Prince George RCMP tipped over a booze can operating on the edge of the VLA this week.

A bootlegger operation was raided late Monday evening and it took until early Tuesday morning to finish gathering all the bottles.

"Officers located and seized 636 bottles of beer/coolers and 62 bottles of hard liquor," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Investigators believe that the occupants of the residence were selling the alcohol between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. at twice the price of liquor stores."

Five people were home when police members came in with a search warrant. The address was a residence in the 2100 block of Redwood Street.

Charges are pending.
