The Copper Pig BBQ House will be shutting its doors this week.

The popular eatery announced on its Facebook Page that it would be closing at the end of September due to a potential sale and minor renovation.

During the last week of September, the restaurant will be closed for lunches and no longer on Skip the Dishes. It will be open for dinner with a feature sheet of guest favourites and chef specials.

Sept. 27 will be the last night the Copper Pig remains open, and the restaurant is going out with a bang as it’s hosting a Farmers Market Long Table Dinner.

It’s a five-course social dinner built around the fresh farm produce and locally sourced meats from Prince George’s downtown farmers market.

Each dish will be served family-style on platters, board and bowls.  The Copper Pig will also feature a smoked beef tenderloin and a one-of-a-kind pork dish created exclusively for this dinner.

There will also be two desserts!

Tickets are $49 dollars per person and there are only 16 seats available. You can call ahead to reserve your spot 250-640-1615.
