The kickoff to the symphony season is just as exciting and full of anticipation as the first day back at school! This year, the skies opened Sunday afternoon and Fort George Park proved to be too much of a challenging venue for audience and instruments alike. At the last minute, those arriving with umbrellas and rainslickers were re-directed to the comfort of St. Michael's church. "Pops in the Park" quickly turned into "Pops in the Pews" - through Bill Russell's imaginative re-naming.
