RCMP attempted to find Christopher Ross Blaney, 31, on Friday at two residences on Friday, but where unable to locate him, according to a statement issued by police.
Blaney has an outstanding arrest warrant and may be armed with a gun.
On Friday police had cordoned an area of Moffat Street near Fifth Avenue, and later a section of Carney Street from Eighth Avenue to 10th Avenue, in search of a male.
