Two federal parolees with Prince George connections are both on the lam in the Lower Mainland.

There is no known connection between the two, said police, but they are actively seeking Joel David Wilson, 33, and Lisa Anne Whitford, 38. Both have unlawfully dropped out of contact with their parole supervisors, police allege.

Whitford was born and raised in the Prince George area and was residing at a New Westminster halfway house but left there on Monday against her conditions.

Also on Monday, Wilson walked away from his halfway house located in Surrey. He is not from Prince George but is known to have spent time in B.C.'s northern capital.

Whitford is described as a non-white female, five foot two inches, 110 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo on her upper right arm of tribal art and a devil on her right leg.

Wilson is described as a Caucasian male, 192 cm six foot four inches, 232 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a Chevy symbol on his upper right arm.

Both suspects have a history of violence. Police urge the public to not approach either of them, if noticed, but contact police as soon as possible with any information about their possible location or activities.
