One man is missing after a Hixon house fire.
After receiving a report of a residential fire near Hixon Saturday afternoon, the Prince George RCMP arrived on scene to find the rural-area home fully engulfed in flames.
Of the two people known to live there, only one - an adult female - was located safely. She was not home at the time of the blaze. The other person, an adult male, has not been found.
A perimeter search of the property by a police service dog and handler did not turn up anything.
Police fire investigators and personnel from the Office of the Fire Commissioner are on scene investigating.
