Prince George RCMP have recovered a portion of roughly $200,000 worth of equipment that went missing from a work site 18 months ago.
A 1997 Freightliner tractor and the Kaufman low bed flat deck trailer were uncovered last Friday when the detachment's street crew unit executed a search warrant on a 13000-block Chief Lake Road home, police said.
Still missing are a white "sea-can" container that was on the trailer, a yellow 2010 John Deere skid steer tractor model 323D on tracks and pipes and other drilling equipment.
They all went missing in March 2016 from a worksite located along Highway 16 West near Isle Pierre Road.
"At this time no arrests have been made, however the investigation is continuing," RCMP said.
