A man suspected of stealing packages from the front steps of a Prince George home has been charged.
Jeffrey Nik Krafczyk, 40, faces one count each of theft $5,000 or under and breaching probation.
He was arrested last Thursday afternoon after Prince George RCMP were called to a 1600-block Gillett Street home.
Aided by a "very detailed description of the suspect," RCMP said they had Krafczyk in custody less than 45 minutes after receiving the report.
Krafczyk was released on Friday following a bail hearing and with a date to return to court at the end of this month.
Krafczyk is known to the police and courts. In November he was arrested for breaking into a garage on Johnson Street and was later sentenced to seven days in jail. He had been in custody for 34 days by that time.
