A common law couple was arrested Tuesday night after the Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant on a home in the Quinson neighbourhood.
Police from the detachment's city drug section and downtown enforcement unit carried out the search of the home in the 100 block of Moffat Street starting at about 8 p.m. and said they located a sawed off shotgun, two long rifles, ammunition, three ounces of cocaine, $9,100 in cash, scales, score sheets and other trafficking paraphernalia.
Officials from the Ministry of Children and Families, meanwhile, were called to the home where three young children were also found.
Police are recommending several firearms and trafficking related charges while the couple was later released from custody with court appearances in late February.
