A "violent assault" in the Crescents neighbourhood home Tuesday night sent a man to hospital with severe injuries, Prince George RCMP said.
The 31-year-old was the victim of a targeted attack involving people known to each other and the general public is not at risk, police said.
Police were called to a 2100-block Ross Crescent home at 7:45 p.m.
Police had taped off a handful of properties and Prince George RCMP's serious crime section was called in to lead the investigation and gather evidence.
"This is the beginning stages of a complicated investigation," RCMP said. "Further details may be provided as they become available."
