Prince George RCMP are investigating a social media post a D.P. Todd Secondary School student received on Wednesday.
"The content of the post is concerning to police and we are working to find the original sender. It is stock photo of a meme found on the internet, so we would like to know the motivation behind sending it," Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said.
Police do not believe there is an increased risk to the students or staff, and the hold-and-secure that had been in place at the school has now been lifted.
The investigation will remain open until the original sender is located and spoken with, RCMP added.
