Prince George RCMP Downtown Enforcement Unit busted a suspected crack shack on the 1400 block of Milburn Avenue Tuesday night, gaining entry despite discovering a heavily-barricaded set of doors upon arrival.

The RCMP arrested an adult man, a known member of the Game Tight Soldiers (GTS), and a young offender, also a well-known GTS associate.

Police also seized crack cocaine, cash, various edged weapons and assorted drug trafficking paraphernalia from the residence.

RCMP are seeking help of landlords and property representatives around the city in combatting crack shacks. Landlords need to ensure they are completing tenancy agreements, asking for valid forms of identification from renters, following up with the tenants references and visit the properties regularly to check for suspicious activity.

Anyone with information about illicit drug activity is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
