Police arrest another in Quesnel shooting

A second suspect is in custody after a weekend shooting incident in Quesnel. At about 4 a.m. Saturday, multiple shots were fired at a home in the 400 block of Hartley Street. One suspect was arrested by Quesnel Mounties within hours.

At about 4 a.m. Saturday, multiple shots were fired at a home in the 400 block of Hartley Street. One suspect was arrested by Quesnel Mounties within hours. On Tuesday, police issued a call for public help to locate Kale Raymond Comeau, 27.

Quesnel RCMP spokeswoman Const. Krista Vrolyk said at the time "Comeau is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached." By mid-afternoon Tuesday police had arrested Comeau.

The charges pending against Comeau include allegations of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, pointing a firearm and breaching an undertaking.

Another man, 26, was the other suspect arrested so far and is due in court today in Quesnel.
