RCMP in Quesnel are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday on Blackwater Road.
On July 4, an officer conducting routine patrols found an SUV on its roof in a ditch near Mitchell Road.
A 61-year-old man was removed from the vehicle. Police and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the man could not be resuscitated.
The road was closed for a short time but has since reopened.
“The Quesnel RCMP are investigating the cause of the collision,” said Cpl. Rob Belanger.
