As long as the snow keeps falling, city crews will keep plowing top priority routes.
The city moved to full snow operations as of Thursday's shift, said a press release. Priority 1 and Priority 2 routes – downtown streets, bus routes, main arterials, priority hills, the hospital district and civic facility entrances, parking lots and pathways – will be maintained while the snow flies.
Once precipitation ends, those top two priority areas will be cleared within 48 hours. Priority 3 – including residential – roads have a 72-hour timeline to be plowed once those first two groups are finished.
