Families headed to Knox Performance Centre Saturday for the Great Northern Chili Cook-off, held in conjunction with the Northern Hospital Festival at the former church.
Groups from around the area offered up their takes on the traditional spicy dish.
The event also featured bowls were made by members of the Prince George Potters' Guild, each being sold for $25 to allow the purchaser to sample the many chilis on hand and vote for the best.
