PHOTOS: 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships in Prince George day one medal ceremonies

Six events received medals on Saturday night (Feb. 16)

The first day of the 2019 World Para Noridc Skiing Championships in Prince George is now in the books and the last event of the evening was the medal ceremony which saw two Canadians receive hardware. 

The top three finishers from the following events received their medals at the Civic Centre on Saturday night (Feb. 16):

WOMEN, MIDDLE SITTING

  1. Oksana Masters - USA: 41:35.7
  2. Kendall Gretsch - USA: 42:23.9
  3. Andrea Esaku - GER: 45:07.8

MEN MIDDLE, SITTING

  1. Taras Rad - UKR: 43:15.0
  2. Collin Cameron - CAN: 44:45.5
  3. Euihyun Shin - KOR: 45:02.7

WOMEN MIDDLE, STANDING

  1. Liudmyla Liashenko - UKR: 37:22.4 
  2. Bauman Batenkova - UKR: 38:09.3
  3. Oleksan Kononova - UKR: 38:32.0

MEN MIDDLE, STANDING

  1. Benjamin Daviet - FRA: 36:24.4
  2. Nils-Erik Uslet - NOR: 38:34.5
  3. Mark Arendz - CAN: 38:39.0

WOMEN MIDDLE, VISUALLY IMPAIRED 

  1. Klara Klug (Martin Hartl) - GER: 39:48.8
  2. Oksana Shyskova (Vitaliy Kazakof) - UKR: 40:29.1
  3. Andriana Kapustei (Nazar Stefurak) - UKR: 46:19.3

MEN MIDDLE, VISUALLY IMPAIRED
