A 37-year-old Prince George woman is in custody following the armed robbery of a Quesnel convenience store last week.

A 37-year-old Prince George woman is in custody following the armed robbery of a Quesnel convenience store last week.

Sarah Tom was arrested Sunday, after police used an image from video surveillance to determine she was the one who entered the store, located in the 100 block of Marsh Drive on the night of Nov. 26.

Tom is alleged to have produced a knife and demanded money before leaving in a vehicle that was waiting for her.

Tom has been charged with one count of robbery and remains in custody pending her next court appearance on Dec. 10.
