P.G. leads blood drive

The B.C. Ambulance Service in Prince George gave the most units of blood during last month's emergency services Sirens for Life blood drive. The paramedics contributed 23 units of blood in Prince George between Jan. 2-31.

The B.C. Ambulance Service in Prince George gave the most units of blood during last month's emergency services Sirens for Life blood drive.

The paramedics contributed 23 units of blood in Prince George between Jan. 2-31. Prince George Fire Rescue donated 14 units and the RCMP donated 12 units.

According to Canadian Blood Services, there is currently a need for more donors with O negative blood. More information on how to donate can be found at www.blood.ca or by calling 1-888-236-6283.
