Finding a great deal on a new set of wheels could be just a click away.
This year's PG Auctionmart features an automotive section and topping the list is a 2013 Chevrolet Spark, courtesy of Wood Wheaton GM Supercentre.
Also on the block is a 2009 Can-Am Spyder GS-5S - a three-wheeled motorcycle - from Forest Power Sports, a 2010 Sym Symba Scooter and a 2010 Peugeot R-Cup Scooter from Queensway Auto World and a 50 cc Husqvarna dirt bike from Summit Power Tools.
A car audio system from Dark Horse Audio is also available.
The starting bid for most items is 30 per cent but the bigger vehicles like the Spark and the Spyder start at 50 per cent, said Prince George Citizen promotions executive Norm Coyne, but that's still a great deal.
"If you were able to go onto a car lot and get a car for 30 per cent off, rather than trying to haggle, that's like worry free," he said. "You just go in, pay your money and you're done."
Only the winning bidders will have to provide personal financial information and they can pay for their items through a secure site online or in person at the Citizen office.
The auction begins Sept. 7 and lasts until Sept. 17 but you can register today at www.pgauctionmart.ca.
Registration includes automatic entry into weekly draws for gift certificates to local restaurants such as CIMO Mediterranean Grill, Twisted Cork, Ric's Grill and A&A Burger Bar.
